Valkosaari / NJK

Valkosaari (Blekholmen) is one of Finland's oldest and best-known club and guest marinas. The unique Valkosaari is located in the middle of Helsinki's South Harbour. The peaceful harbour has 25 guest boat berths, in addition to which there are also free berths in the club harbour, boats are moored either to moorings, buoys or as side moorings. The restaurant and harbour office are located in a historic pavilion from 1900. The ferry boat provides quick access to the mainland, from where it is a short journey to the shops and attractions of the city centre. The ferry boat runs regularly on weekdays and Saturdays from 9:00 to 24:00 and on Sundays from 9:00 to 22:00, and at other times if necessary and according to the restaurant's opening hours. The harbour has wireless internet access. The Valkosaari guest marina is managed by Finland's largest boat club NJK, i.e. Nyländska Jaktklubben, which is Finland's largest and oldest registered yacht club. The society has over 2800 members. The nearest septic tank emptying stations are located in Särkä and Pohjoissatama.
